The cyborg detector is an installation where you talk to an avatar, - a computer figure. This avatar is a scientist who asks you questions and who will at the end calculate your cyborg-degree from your answers.

The scientist will mutate according to your answers during your conversation and hence integrates your answers into its appearance.

If at the end of the conversation the calculation determines that you are not a cyborg, you receive tools and instructions on how to join the cyborg world.

The first show of this installation was at the Ars Electronica Festival 97. 394 cyborgs were detected then.
